Working towards IFF LA, we have been incredibly grateful for the support we have received from all aspects of the North American live industry, in particular our agency and commercial partners. That so many of the world’s top live entertainment companies have got behind the event is proof of what IFF LA can bring to the market.
However, we are increasingly being made aware that the global conflicts in 2026, as well as the huge jump in travel and other costs, are making it difficult for many domestic and international delegates to attend. Additional feedback from some of our festival partners has also highlighted that the September dates are challenging for them, with a number tied up delivering their own events.
So, we have decided to move IFF LA to 2027 with a new date to be announced following further consultation with the industry in the coming months. We remain confident that there is a place for IFF LA in the North American festival business, and so do our partners. However, as the event exists solely to serve the needs of festivals, agencies and the wider live industry, we want to ensure it delivers the greatest possible value at the right time.
We look forward to sharing more details about IFF LA in the coming months.

Death Grapple is a formidable force in the metal music scene, renowned for their aggressive sound and intense live performances. Formed in 2010 in Detroit, Michigan, the band consists of frontman and guitarist Jake “The Inferno” Mason, bassist Sarah “Storm” Ramirez, drummer Leo “Thunder” Brooks, and lead guitarist Max “Razor” Johnson. Their music, characterized by thunderous riffs, brutal vocals, and dark, intricate compositions, draws inspiration from thrash, death metal, and hardcore punk, creating a sound that is both ferocious and captivating.
The band’s debut album, “Eternal Struggle,” released in 2013, immediately caught the attention of metal enthusiasts with its raw power and technical prowess. Tracks like “Hellbound” and “Chains of Fate” became anthems in the underground metal community. Building on this momentum, Death Grapple released their second album, “Iron Clad” (2016), which received widespread critical acclaim for its sophisticated songwriting and relentless energy. Known for their electrifying and unapologetically intense live shows, Death Grapple has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting and enduring acts in contemporary metal, continuing to push the genre’s boundaries with each new release.
